Who We Are

The story of Awakening as a retail brand really began in January 2000 when a group of Muslims met in Swansea, a small seaside town in the UK. Awakening's prime objective is to contribute to the awakening or renaissance of Muslim thought in the West. Alhamdulillah, from a modest beginning of just two books to now over 20 products shows the steady progress Awakening has made over the years.

Awakening strives to produce products which are affluent in quality and dynamic in nature.

The expansion into USA (www.awakeningusa.com) began in 2001, with the release of the most widely acclaimed book Al-Ma'thurat (a collection of du'a (supplication) and dhikr (invocation)). Since that time, Awakening has released two lecture series by the renowned da'iyah and scholar Imam Suhaib Webb and Imam Anwar al-Awlaki.
